Art Therapy

Art therapy combines methodologies of psychotherapy with the creative process. In art therapy the therapeutic relationship is seen as a triad between the client, the image and the therapist. Regardless of previous art making experience individuals can express themselves through their own unique creativity. Art therapy gives individuals a space to express themselves through the creative process and a space to reflect and understand their emotions and ways of thinking.

Art therapists guide and support the individual through the process. Art therapists provide a variety of art materials and adapt to a clients age and needs.
